For my project today I used lots of Jaded Blossom products - after all, they are meant to work so well together.

The dies I used were : Christmas Dies,Scallop Square Dies, Stitched Square Dies

The stamps I chose came from : Cookies For You, Christmas Signs, Bake Me Happy,

Jaded Blossom Guest Designer

Hey everyone! Janice here from Janice's Jems! I'm so excited to be a guest designer for the third year in a row!! No project is ever complete without Jaded Blossom! 

This time of year I always try to find new creative ways to 'dress up' my table. As my kids get older, I have to get creative to impress them. For Christmas dinner this year I have made utensil holders.

Merry Freakin' Jaded Blossom Challenge

Jaded Blossom challenge this month is to use your favorite JB stamp to create a project... 

Well my favorite stamp set is 'Bah Humbug' - a Christmas stamp set that came out last year.

I knew it was a little silly to make a Christmas project at this time of year, when the snow is all melted & the birds are chirping... But it does say FAVORITE... so here it is :)

Snowman poop

Someone we love....

I made a glitter ornament for my mom. 

We lost my grandma this year & I wanted to make her something to remember her at Christmas.

It reads "Because someone we love id in heaven... There's a little bit of heaven in our home"

I put the ornament in a a paint can & attached a tag to it.

I'm sure she will love it!

Birthday month - Post 6

This month I am involved in a few different swaps. 

One being an ornament swap for Christmas. 

I will be mailing my ornament out tomorrow to my partner - I hope she likes it!

I bought a glass ornament at Michaels' & glittered the inside with some MS glitter.

I cut vinyl with my cameo & adhered it to the front. I added some ribbon & VOILA - here it is!

2012 Teacher Ornament

I wanted to come up with a very special gift for my daughter's teacher - she has been her teacher for 3 grades. She was her teacher for Kindergarten  grade 3 & now grade four. Although she has a new name this year as she got married the same weekend as my sister!! 

However this is also the last year my little girl will be in elementary - next year will be middle school :(

Here is what I came up with:

I put it all together in a heat & serve Tupperware container, I ordered a cool wooden ruler that says 'Mrs. Thompson Measures Up', and a stamp from the desk of Mrs. Thompson - from Pick your plum of course :)  I included some dark chocolates for her from Purdy's... mmmmmm - Yes I am a firm believer in spoiling our teachers, after all they are responsible for caring for my children while they are at school and not with me! 

I believe my daughter has been VERY blessed with the TWO, yes, only two teachers she has had in the last 5 years of school! 

I couldn't have hand picked anyone better suited to teach her!

Christmas Tags

This weekend I thought I should get a jump on some Christmas crafting. I had told my step mom at Christmas last year that I would make her some tags for gifts. Both of my sisters & I made our own & they were a big hit, everyone loved them.

I decided to pull out my stamps & get to work. I cut the tags from TBBM in the CCR to get many tags out of a 12 x 12 sheet of paper. I cut the first ones & then made smaller tags too. Here they are...

I used some stamps from the cheap bin @ Michael's

I ended up making almost 70 tags in total. I will be giving some to my step mom & will put some in the mail to send to my M-I-L... I'm sure she'll love to get some happy mail :)

Then of course I will keep a few for myself to use!
