Jaded Blossom May Challenge

Jaded Blossom is hosting yet another fun challenge over here!

The theme this month is Go Wild! Any Wild Animal

So I decided to make a fun hedgehog treat for my hubby.

I'm going to put it in his lunch tomorrow - wonder how he will react ;) 

I will be there (we work together) if it's good, I'll let you know!

I used a hedgehog treat from the silhouette store.

I used a 3x4 bag from the Jaded Blossom store, along with card mat dies & cheesy pick ups 3.

I love these stamps - all of them are so much fun!

Of course the face is stamped with a peachy keen set - critters.

Easter Treats For You

After weeks of little to no time for crafting, I was able to head down to my craft room, well my desk anyway to start getting crafts ready for next weekend. 

As my kids get older, it's not as easy to find cute fillers, so I decided to make a ticket book with a couple iTunes gift cards. After all who doesn't enjoy iTunes!?! 

I used the Ticket Book dies from Jaded Blossom, as well as Easter Treats 3 stamps for my sentiment.

I cut out this adorable KaDoodle freebie from the hop this weekend. I used some Peachy Keen stamps for the chicks face. I added some Grape Fizz & Twisted Gumball twine from Trendy Twine. I used a few recollections enamel dots to add a little pop to my project.

I used the Gift Card Die from Jaded Blossom as well for the inserts of my little book.

I will also be entering this into Jaded Blossom's March Challenge :)

Holy moly - I can't believe it's been like 6 weeks since I've posted... I have been so busy with so many things. My mom turns 60 this summer & I along with help from my siblings am throwing a surprise party. I have done a fair bit of crafting for it - including invitations that will hit the mail this week!! 

Enough rambling - let's get to today's card - the theme for July is any card with an animal. When I looked at all my different stamps, I didn't find any dog type sentiments, which is what I wanted to make... Instead I looked though my SVG files & found a butterfly from Miss Kate's Cuttables & knew that would be my feature... I know it's not really an animal at all, but I love how my card turned out!

November is here!

November for my house is a great month! We celebrate two birthdays - mine on the 7th & my son's on the 8th. He will be a teenager this year - gulp! With all the excitement of our own birthdays - I also get to celebrate my sister's on the 1st & niece's on the 29th. I also have a post coming this month with another birthday someone special to Trendy Twine! Lots of November birthdays!!

Before popping my sister's card in the mail last week - I totally forgot to take a picture :( 

I made her a card with a doily dress - it was really cute & I plan to make another one, one day, so I will post a pic once I remake the card!

My hubby came home with my bday present on the 1st - yea almost a week early - but I'll take it. He bought me the new iPhone 5!! So I thought I'd take some pics today - wow so much better than my 3GS!! These pics aren't perfect - but I promise to try to get better! (I'm thinking I should make a light box)

I had some extra paper cut - thought I should finish using it - so I went into my already assembled die cuts & found a baby Jesus & 2 leftover snowmen from my cards last year - man am I glad to have those peachy stamps, I think their faces are so much cuter!!
