CCE February Exchange

February for CCE is Post it note holder or bookmarks.
I decided to choose a post it note holder.
After seeing one of the Jaded Blossom DT girls make one for the blog hop last month, I knew I had to try!
So I got my crafty goodies together & went to work.

Happy Birthday 97!!

Today is a special card making day!
It's for my hubby's Grandpa, who is also just as much my Grandpa, even if I didn't know him the first 19 years of my life. In 5 days he will be celebrating his 97th birthday!
Now that is worth celebrating!!

For his card I wanted to have it a star theme, after all he is a superstar!
And of course I needed it to be manly & simple.

Good Friends

It was my bestie's birthday this past week. I needed to make a card for her & bought this Jaded Blossom stamp set especially with her in mind. Of course I will be getting more use out of this set, but knew I would want to use it first on her card!

I found the wine glass in the Silhouette store. I added glossy accents to the 'wine' to give it a little flair. I found a doily in my stash & spritzed it with a silver recollections spray ink to make it shimmer (which you can't see in the picture)

'good friends are like good wine,
they get better with age'

I cut out and layered hearts from the valentine dies. I used the heart from Tic Tac Toe, and BFF from Best Friends. I love the many versatile fonts from So Many Birthdays!

Just Because

I definitely couldn't send my nephew a get better card & not send one to my niece.
So I made a 'Just Because' card for her to let her know I miss her!

I wanted to make a fun base for my card. I tore off washi tape & covered my base piece. I then ran it through my big shot with the card base die from Jaded Blossom to get this great base with stitching!
I stamped two little bunnies in the background, as she has pet bunnies that live outside at her house.
I added a princess that I colored with dimensionals.  And stamped the sentiment with StazOn ink.

Accidents Happen

My nephew had a little sledding accident last week. His little face got a huge cut on his cheek.
I thought it would be fun to send him a get well card.

I wanted a fun background, so I used some washi tape. I ran the base though my big shot with the card base die from Jaded Blossom. I stamped the two sentiments and attached my monster with dimensionals.

Treat Yourself - Guest Design Jaded Blossom

Hello everyone!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
I am the guest designer for Jaded Blossom this month.
I found this little teapot in the silhouette store & knew I wanted to make a fun treat.

The lid comes off & I put a couple little teabags inside :)

I decorated it with Spring Dies & Spa Candies.
I just love how easily Jaded Blossom helps to 'dress up' any little project.
I added a Twisted Gumball twine bow as a little extra touch!

I hope you've enjoyed my project today.
I love reading your comments & having new followers - feel free to do either or, or both!
Certainly makes my day!
