Thank You - CCE May 2015

Sorry to be M.I.A. for the past 6 weeks or so. I've been swamped at work and by the time I get home at night, my mojo seemed to have left the building :( 

However I am back! Today I have a fun shaker card to share. It's my May card for my CCE group!

I used a Sizzix card base. Added the 'thank you' sentimemt from 'For the Hostess' stamp set from Jaded Blossm. Added some sequins from my stash & washi tape with a couple pearls. 

Simple & elegant!

Happy Birthday 97!!

Today is a special card making day! 

It's for my hubby's Grandpa, who is also just as much my Grandpa, even if I didn't know him the first 19 years of my life. In 5 days he will be celebrating his 97th birthday!

Now that is worth celebrating!!

For his card I wanted to have it a star theme, after all he is a superstar!

And of course I needed it to be manly & simple.
