Jaded Blossom is hosting yet another fun challenge over here!

The theme this month is Go Wild! Any Wild Animal

So I decided to make a fun hedgehog treat for my hubby.

I'm going to put it in his lunch tomorrow - wonder how he will react ;) 

I will be there (we work together) if it's good, I'll let you know!

I used a hedgehog treat from the silhouette store.

I used a 3x4 bag from the Jaded Blossom store, along with card mat dies & cheesy pick ups 3.

I love these stamps - all of them are so much fun!

Of course the face is stamped with a peachy keen set - critters.

Treat Yourself - Guest Design Jaded Blossom

Hello everyone! 

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

I am the guest designer for Jaded Blossom this month.

I found this little teapot in the silhouette store & knew I wanted to make a fun treat.

The lid comes off & I put a couple little teabags inside :)

I decorated it with Spring Dies & Spa Candies. 

I just love how easily Jaded Blossom helps to 'dress up' any little project.

I added a Twisted Gumball twine bow as a little extra touch!

Sweet Holiday Wishes

I needed to make a few Christmas gifts for the teachers. Now as my children get older, they end up with a lot more teachers and as my pocket book doesn't seem to always be as big as I'd like it, I do think it's important to make them all a little treat.

Jaded Blossom has another challenge up & running. Because I've been on a crafting spree this weekend, I thought I should get on my project. And because of the project I choose, I'm already a little behind. 

I made an advent calendar Halloween style! 

Now because I have older kids (almost 15 & 11) I didn't put numbers on it, this way they can choose any one they like everyday this month - and yes they get to play catch up today.

Happy 11th Birthday!

Tomorrow we celebrate my daughter's 11th birthday... It's definitely one of the times that I ponder how it is that so much time has already passed! 

I wanted to create a fun treat with lots of candy for her. I don't let my kids eat tons of sugar, however, for their bdays & special occasions, they must get to enjoy it!

Hello Teacher

Summer is coming to a close :( 

It's about time to start preparing for back to school. This year I am trying to have a little gift everyday for the first week back for my daughter's grade 6 teacher. She had her last year for english & social, so I am familiar with her & know the supplies she uses up fast. My plan is to make a gift of school supplies of some sort for each day. Here is her first day back gift...

21st Birthday Card

I made a card for my card exchange group in June (you can see it here) & was asked to make a card like it for a 21st birthday :) I am honored when people enjoy my crafts & want to pass one on to a loved one! Hopefully this one stands up! I was told it was for a 21st birthday for an amateur photographer & her favorite color is purple... Here is what I came up with!! 

The lens & flash are glitter paper. I put little bits of bling for the shaking part :)

Jaded Blossom Customer Contest

This week was a fun one on Jaded Blossom's Group of Creativity on Facebook. They had a customer contest. You could make a project & submit it via email without any watermarking on it so that no one knew it was your project. There were 5 prizes in total & although I didn't win a JB gift certificate I did win a $10 credit to SVG Cutting Files store with an honorable mention for my project! Baby Boy Shower - sneek peek

My best friend is having a baby! I have been busy making little stuff for the party tomorrow... A sneak peek at the banner I finished... 

I love how simple the ticket book die made this banner! I cut the book piece as the background & then put some ATG on the back & closed it shut over the string!

Someone we love....

I made a glitter ornament for my mom. 

We lost my grandma this year & I wanted to make her something to remember her at Christmas.

It reads "Because someone we love id in heaven... There's a little bit of heaven in our home"

I put the ornament in a a paint can & attached a tag to it.

I'm sure she will love it!

Birthday month - Post 12 - Jaded Blossom Challenge

Jaded Blossom has posted another awesome challenge. Now my challenge with this one is that I live in Canada, so that means we celebrate Thanksgiving in October. As a family we camp for our weekend as it's the last weekend before the hunting / winter seasons start.

Birthday month - Post 6

This month I am involved in a few different swaps. 

One being an ornament swap for Christmas. 

I will be mailing my ornament out tomorrow to my partner - I hope she likes it!

I bought a glass ornament at Michaels' & glittered the inside with some MS glitter.

I cut vinyl with my cameo & adhered it to the front. I added some ribbon & VOILA - here it is!

CCE July 2013

Holy moly - I can't believe it's been like 6 weeks since I've posted... I have been so busy with so many things. My mom turns 60 this summer & I along with help from my siblings am throwing a surprise party. I have done a fair bit of crafting for it - including invitations that will hit the mail this week!! 

Enough rambling - let's get to today's card - the theme for July is any card with an animal. When I looked at all my different stamps, I didn't find any dog type sentiments, which is what I wanted to make... Instead I looked though my SVG files & found a butterfly from Miss Kate's Cuttables & knew that would be my feature... I know it's not really an animal at all, but I love how my card turned out!

I will be seeing my Mom tomorrow. I wanted to have her Mothers Day gift ready for her, along with her card. With it being my Grandma's funeral as well I wanted something that would remind her of her mom too. I decided to make a vinyled canvas!
