My 12th Anniversary

Tomorrow is a big day at our house - it's our 12th Wedding Anniversary!!

This is a big year for me - this is how many years my parents were married when my dad left...
So I think for me this is an extra special anniversary to celebrate!!

Tonight we are going to have a BBQ at my uncle's, and not sure what tomorrow will bring. Well I know that my hubby will be working at least part of the day :( But will have Monday off!!

I made my hubby a card, of course I did... I'm thinking I might make another to leave on his pillow for him to sign for me. I hate it when he buys me cards, what a waste of money, it could buy me a whole pack of paper to make lots of cards with!!

'Your lips look so lonely'

For the background paper I stamped the lips in Cherry Cobbler from Stampin Up & then heat embossed a few lips in white to give it a cool effect!

'Would they like to meet mine?'

Recipe:
Lips - Jaded Blossom Funny Mail
Sentiments - Jaded Blossom Cheesy Pick ups
Banner cut - CTMH Artisite cart
Ribbon - Celebrate it

Till next time -

Trendy Twine's Birthday Celebration

Hello Everyone and Welcome to Trendy Twine's Birthday Celebration Weekend.
This weekend is not only Lesley's Birthday but her Mom's Too.
She has asked several of us to be her Guest Designers to help with the Celebration.
Now if you're here from Dawn then you're in the right direction, but if you're just passing thru you may want to start at the Trendy Twine Blog because you don't want to miss out on the Blog Candy.
Here is what I made for Lesley's Mom:
I used the top note die from Stampin' Up, but used the negative outline to get the great shape. I used Blueberry Trendy Twine to accent the outline.
Some red polka dot washi tape behind my banner and cut out a banner using Close to my Heart Artiste cartridge. The stamp is also from CTMH.
I had some flowers in my stash that I inked up to make them less pink, more rusty. I hope she likes it!
Next up on the hop is

A fun little ornament

How cute is this little ornament! I love how quick & easy it was to assemble. I cut 4 ornaments from CTMH artiste cart, folded them in half & used atg to stick them together!
I found this awesome feather yarn at the dollar store & used a Jaded Blossom stamp for the sentiment!
My 9 year old helped pick the paper & the sentiment, she saw how quick & easy it was, I see her making these for all of her friends!

Till next time,
J
