Teacher Appreciation Gifts with Trendy Twine

 I am excited to share with you a quick and easy project made with beautiful Trendy Twine!

I have 45 teacher gifts to make for a junior high school. I started off with some chocolates from Purdy's Chocolatier and created vellum tags then heat embossed the sentiment. I used eyelets to finish off the sides and then put it all together with Gray Licorice twine from Annie's Paper Boutique!

This twine has been so perfect for so many year end gifts and is great for graduation touches!

I used Teacher Appreciation (Revamp) and Mini Tag Dies 2 from Jaded Blossom for the tag :)

Guest Designer Trendy Twine - Planner Layout

Good morning Trendy friends! I am so excited to be a guest designer again for Trendy Twine!

I have become a big planner fan. And every week I love to work on my layouts.
So today, I decided to share this weeks layout with you.

This week's layout is full of Annie's Paper Boutique planner stamps.
They are fantastic little stamps that still leave lots of room for your own personal writing and touches.

I love adding a touch of twine to my pages... and the Trendy dots... They are just the perfect touch of fun! I use a Happy Planner, so I cut my dots in half and I get two full layouts with each strip of dots!

I have a coworker who is moving on to greater opportunities... Sad for me, wonderful for her.

We clicked very quickly & she instantly became my friend.

As this is her last week with us, I wanted to be sure to give her a gift from my heart.

Jaded Blossom Valentine Challenge

I am heading off to Band Camp tomorrow for a couple days of fun! As I will be out there with over 80 grade 7 & 8 students on Valentines Day, I knew I would have to make treat bags for them all! 

As Jaded Blossom decided to throw a challenge out there, I knew I'd have to enter with these 90, yes 90 treat bags. We can't have the little ones who live at the camp be left out either!

I bought little zip bags from Dollarama for the candy. Filled them with a few each and topped it off with some Jaded Blossom goodies!

Happy New Year - Trendy Twine

Hello crafting friends! I am here today to share some festive New Year treat boxes!

Our new years celebration this year will be low key & I wanted fun little treats for the family.

I started out with clear little boxes, added some DCWV paper. Used Jaded Blossom dies and stamps and finished it off with little 'Firework' twine pompoms!

Trendy Twine Guest Designer - Candy Cane Planner

Happy Sunday Crafters!

Today is my last guest design post for the month of November with Trendy Twine:( 

I wanted to share with you something I love to do - plan!

Decorating my planner is probably my favorite way to craft these days. If you are anything like me, extremely busy, then know that I set aside one day a month to get my planner crafted for the entire month. That way I'm not feeling panicked to get my weeks done before they happen.

I enjoy picking papers to start! 

Then comes the stamping.

Today I used 3 stamps from Annie's Paper Boutique.

And finished off my little banners with Candy Cane Trendy Twine!

Trendy Twine - Fall Decor - Guest Designer

Hello Everyone!

I wanted to create a fun decor piece. Here is what I came up with.
 I love finding new ways to use twine! 

I got my hubby to cut me some scrap pieces of wood. I sanded them down a bit, but left them a bit rough to give it texture. I used Martha Stewart's metallic 'rose gold' paint for the base.

I created nail art with the beautiful Spiced Pumpkin twine from Annie's Paper Boutique.

The leaves are from Jaded Blossom  - Autumn Leaves.

Trendy Twine - Guest Designer - Happy 17th Birthday!

 I'm so excited to be with you today as a Guest Designer for Trendy Twine!! This week we celebrated a 17th birthday in our house. 

I don't know about you, but I find masculine cards more on the challenging side. 

Here is a different birthday card.

 

On the front I used an Orange Mini Envelope and decorated it with Spiced Pumpkin Twine. 

I stamped the mini arrow with a sentiment from Check It Off and the hashtag is from Get It Done.

All from Annie's Paper Boutique!

The best part of this mini envelope is that it can hold a gift card! And what teenager doesn't love receiving gift cards for their birthdays! 

I added in a centerpiece to the card to include Xbox Live! And a little extra twine to dress it up!

Dies and Sentiments are Jaded Blossom.

And the last part needed twine for the controller cord!

Sympathy Cards

With the loss of a very humble man (my hubby's grandpa) this summer, I felt as though I needed to have some cards on hand. This is certainly not an easy occasion to craft for, but it definitely can help make someone's day a little brighter.

Yes of course it was Jaded Blossom and Trendy Twine for my needs!

Card Mat dies, Journal die, Simple Sayings 1 & 2 were used for the tree and sentiments.

Totally Black Trendy Twine was there to finish it off!

Congrats Smartie!

Graduation treats made for a client, she wanted to have smarties and somewhere for cash.

this is what I came up with!

I never heard if the kids liked them, but she sure did!

And again Jaded Blossom to my rescue! Scallop circle dies, Fall Dies and the stamps came from two different sets, Teacher Appreciation (revamp), School Rules. I did mask both sentiments to come up with my own. 

And of course Trendy Twine finished it off with Midnight twine!

My Brother in law picked up my hubby's prized fish, so I needed to make him a little thank you gift. Jaded Blossom always has the best stamps & awesome dies to make fast fun projects! I used Jaded Blossom's treat tag die, along with Fish-On stamp set. It was tied together with Trendy Twine's Midnight Twine!

Thankful for you

Our thankful season begins and as much as I would love to think it happens everyday, often being thankful isn't part of everyone's everyday.

Trendy Twine Guest Design Team Announcement

Celebration

On my list of to do was a birthday card. I wanted to be inspired  by something... I looked over at my washi tape and thought it has been a while since I used it, so I then looked at my twine and thought 'ah yes, Disney inspiration' without any actual Disney on my card!

I used washi tape on my background paper and then cut it out using Jaded Blossom's Card Mat Die.

I stamped one of the stamps from Birthday Treat Tags on the Luggage Tag Die and adhered it on to the front. I made a little pompom/firework out of Celebration Twine and used glossy accents to get it stuck!

Friends Deserve The Best

I made a sweet friendship card today using a 5.5x5.5 green glitter card base by DCWV.

I used Jaded Blossom dies along with a hint of trendy twine to pull this quick card all together.

 

Recipe:

Jaded Blossom - Scalloped square die, Spring dies and BFF candies, I did stamp inside with Encouragement stamp set, but didn't take a picture.
