Sweet Holiday Wishes

I needed to make a few Christmas gifts for the teachers. Now as my children get older, they end up with a lot more teachers and as my pocket book doesn't seem to always be as big as I'd like it, I do think it's important to make them all a little treat.

Jaded Blossom : Candy Charm Dies, Candy Wrap Dies,
Teacher Appreciation Candies, Gingerbread Candies, Christmas Candy Wraps

Jaded Blossom Birthday Guest Designer

Hello Jaded Blossom Fans!!!

Janice here, from Janice's Jems!
I am truly honored to be part of the Guest Design Team this birthday month!

I am here to share my project I created featuring some of my favorite Jaded Blossom products!
I made a Winter Village.

For the tree I started with a 9" foam cone that I bought at Micheals'
I cut out 4 different tags from the Mini Tag Dies.
The top layer I used the leaf from Christmas Dies.
My tree topper was cut out with the Snowflake Dies.
The ornaments were the stitched circle die (for the holly) from Christmas Dies, and the small circle was cut out using the Spring Dies.

Here is a close up of the tree.
I crocheted garland using Holly Berry twine from Trendy Twine.

What would Christmas pictures be without close ups in front of the tree :)

Here are the super cute elves from Elf workshop stamp set.

The little gingers are cut with a die & stamped from Gingerbread Wishes.
The cute little penguin is from Winter Penguin.

The snowman is from Winter Wishes, and the stunning deer you can find on the
Christmas Wishes stamp set.

Thank you so much Candace & Michelle for letting me post today!
Please feel free to stop by my blog & become a follower if you liked what you saw today!

Snowman Soup

December is upon us...
There are so many people that I love to give gifts to, and with so many, I need some quick, cute treats on hand.
I found some really cute peeps that are big snowmen...
I knew just what to make - SNOWMAN SOUP!!!

I packaged 2 envelopes of Carnation hot chocolate powder, 1 'PEEP' snowman and 2 small candy canes. I packed them up in Jaded Blossom's Gusset bags. They are the perfect size for thicker treats!

Recipe:
Jaded Blossom - Gusset Bags, Fancy Topper Die, Snowman Kisses (retired), Snowflake Dies
Trendy Twine - Peppermint Stick

Till next time,

Handmade Sugar Scrub

'Tis the season!! Well December is upon us now! Here in Calgary, we have quite a bit of snow!
My hubby & son went out to the mountains this weekend to cut down our tree - as it was thawing, my daughter & I got to making the beginning of our handmade gifts!

We made some peppermint sugar scrub! It smells SO good!!
And we tried a bit out - makes your skin so soft!!

I found the recipe here - Peppermint Sugar Scrub
I used organic coconut oil, sugar and Young Living's Peppermint oil, along with a few drops of coloring to have a nice layered effect!
This recipe made enough for 7 jars (the jars are quite small) & a bit extra for us to try out.

For our tags we used Jaded Blossom's Mini Tag Dies, Pamper Yourself stamps and attached little wooden scoops from their store as well.
Trendy Twine's Posy Pink Twine was the perfect pink to accent it!

Till next time,
J
