21st Birthday Card

I made a card for my card exchange group in June (you can see it here) & was asked to make a card like it for a 21st birthday :) I am honored when people enjoy my crafts & want to pass one on to a loved one! Hopefully this one stands up! I was told it was for a 21st birthday for an amateur photographer & her favorite color is purple... Here is what I came up with!! 

The lens & flash are glitter paper. I put little bits of bling for the shaking part :)

Hello Kitty

Jaded Blossom & SVG Cutting Files had an awesome 2nd annual Hello Kitty blog hop last weekend. 

Participating in the hop allowed me to receive a BUNCH of FREE files! 

I decided to make a card today!

I used the ornate card base from SVG Cutting Files. I wrapped Trendy Twine around the layer & then used dimensionals to adhere my Hello Kitty. Instead of the circle for the middle of her bow, I used a flower die from the Spring Dies set from Jaded Blossom. I added rhinestones to her glasses & used white & black stitching to give it a little extra. I used a sentiment from Jaded Blossom's Kawaii Sentiments on the inside of the card. I did order the new Hello Hello stamp set, but haven't received it yet... I might add a sentiment to the front once the stamps are in my hands ;)

Baby Girl Shower - It's A Girl

Sorry for the not so great photo, but here is the banner I made. 

I used the Ticket Book Die from Jaded Blossom for my base of my banner. Cut the letters out of glitter paper. Used Create a Critter for the zebras.  Trendy Twine to link it together - Pink Midnight

Jaded Blossom Customer Contest

This week was a fun one on Jaded Blossom's Group of Creativity on Facebook. They had a customer contest. You could make a project & submit it via email without any watermarking on it so that no one knew it was your project. There were 5 prizes in total & although I didn't win a JB gift certificate I did win a $10 credit to SVG Cutting Files store with an honorable mention for my project! Baby Boy Shower

*****WARNING this post will be picture heavy*****

I offered to throw my best friend a shower for her baby boy. She & I have been best friends for what seems like forever! So it was never any question as to who would plan for this special day of showering her & baby with love!

These water bottle matched the invitations perfectly! Made by the very talented Charlotte's Web Design

The blue punch with mustache worked perfectly into our theme! Thanks to our lovely house hostess for the added touch!

For the little signs I used the Ticket Book Die from Jaded Blossom

I also incorporated the Mustache Dies from Jaded Blossom

*****Just a note of reference - if you are hosting a shower of any kind, so many of the guests said it was such a great idea to have them address their own envelope. After all, who knows your address better than you!*****

A quick card I whipped up at 9 pm, Friday night, after I realized I hadn't yet made a card :( 

For my very quick card I used a lot of the products I had already used. I wanted my tag on the card to be different & I just love the little feet from Jaded Blossom's Weddings & Babies retired stamp set.

Baby Boy Shower - sneek peek

My best friend is having a baby! I have been busy making little stuff for the party tomorrow... A sneak peek at the banner I finished... 

I love how simple the ticket book die made this banner! I cut the book piece as the background & then put some ATG on the back & closed it shut over the string!
