One Direction

My Daughter LOVES One Direction - and I mean loves them!!!
I however can not justify paying the crazy retail prices of those lovely t's, so I decided to make her one even better! We bought a shirt in her favorite color & I pulled out my HTV - some glow in the dark & black.

I found a template from a file shared by a fb groups. Here is the finished product.

She loves it!! And I love that she loves it!!

CCE Swap March 2013

For my CCE group - we had the option of Easter theme, or a baby themed card this month.
I am not too big on Easter, so thought I'd go with the baby theme.

I had made 8 girl cards & then we had another new member join us, so I made some boy cards too. Then I just stuffed some envelopes & put them in the mail. Not sure who got which ones, but here are the cards.

I got the card shape from the sil. store.

Same stamp set as above

Hope you enjoy!

L-U-C-K-Y

As soon as I saw the challenge for this month over at Trendy Twine I knew I would have to make something for it. So I pulled out the laptop, looked on Silhouette's store & found a banner pkg for St. Patty's day.

So I got cutting & looked back at the challenge & saw it was to only be greens, no white, so I cut out another set for my banner....Then added some twine to my letters, and to hold it all together... I am in Love!!!! Seriously I love the color green - And I love this little banner so much, we will see if it comes down after the holiday or not ;)

Here is my finished product - Sorry my pic isn't fantastic
I welded letters in my banner to be cut out. I also cut out another shamrock to glue the twine to.

A close up of the letter & the little Stampin Up flower button!

Here is my banner in it's new home, on my china cabinet that I recieved from my M-I-L.
It houses all my china from my hubby's grandmother & I also have my gramma's silverware.
I can't wait to pull it all out for Easter Dinner when I have family down for the weekend!!

Teacher Appreciation Treats

Well it is that time of year again for some spring teacher gifts.

The Parent Council are hosting a luncheon for the staff at my son's jr. high school. I made little treats for all of the staff last year & decided to do them again. This year I went a much more time consuming route though. I love how they have turned out. I'm still not finished, but I have 12 more days to complete. Everything is cut, now to finish assembling them all... Here is one of the finished ones. Did I mention I need to make 50 of these ;)

Inside has 6 little Purdy's chocolates - yummy :)

For February our monthly challenge for our CCE group was to alter mini composition books. This was a fun challenge, something that made me really think for! Here are my creations, along the same line, just all slightly different.
