Christmas Tags

This weekend I thought I should get a jump on some Christmas crafting. I had told my step mom at Christmas last year that I would make her some tags for gifts. Both of my sisters & I made our own & they were a big hit, everyone loved them.

I decided to pull out my stamps & get to work. I cut the tags from TBBM in the CCR to get many tags out of a 12 x 12 sheet of paper. I cut the first ones & then made smaller tags too. Here they are...

I used some stamps from the cheap bin @ Michael's
Pink By Design - Goodie label die & Goodie labelstamps, Christmas wishes
Pick Your Plum - summer twine
Trendy Twine - Candy Cane twine
Cuttle bug - snaowflakes folder
Martha Stewart Glitter glue

I ended up making almost 70 tags in total. I will be giving some to my step mom & will put some in the mail to send to my M-I-L... I'm sure she'll love to get some happy mail :)

Then of course I will keep a few for myself to use!

Fun Vinyl Projects

My hubby's bday was on Monday & for his bday he went down to the paintball store & picked up a couple items to help him out on the field.
One of the things he purchased were 4 new 'pods'. They are little plastic canisters to hold the paintballs. After we left the store he preceded to inform me that he loses these pods on the field. Well how can that be? I told him maybe I should label them so that if he drops them on the field everyone will know they belong to him, and he hopefully won't loose them.

Here's a new little decal for his helmet.

One of the guys came over last night & saw my hubby's pods... Yep, I offered to juice his up too!

Well after the pods were finished, the helmet was finished, the paintball gun needed something fun... so a smiley face it is....

When he opens the lid to fill it with paint, this is what you'll be looking at ;)

Here it all is, my fun with vinyl this week....

I also dressed up my daughter's mirror, but couldn't get a decent pic without me in it ;)

Final PBD challenge - Junk Drawer

My final project of the day - Junk Drawer :)
I found life savers in the bottom of my purse, they are stale, so perfect to put on a card ;)

What an awesome fun day!!!

Big thanks to all who hung out today!!

PBD Challenge #12 - Inspiration

This challenge has to be linked up within an hour of it's appearance - We've had 3 hours for most, 2 hours for the last one, an now only an hour.
With the pressure on - I did in 15 mins :) Super quick card yes, but the meaning will be appreciated.

Here is my card along with the inspiration - My daughter's stuffy - Snowy :)

My daughter got a hole in her stuffy a couple weeks ago & asked me to fix it, so it's been sitting on my craft desk for  little while. I pick her up tomorrow from here two weeks away & will have her stuffy all sewed up for her, along with a little card. I know it's not really cold outside, but my life's been a little empty the past couple of weeks & she will bring me warmth tomorrow.

I have really enjoyed playing along with everyone today! It's been so nice getting little comments on my blog & your kind words have brought me great joy!

Thanks again!
Happy Anniversary to Pink By Design - look forward to many more years!

PBD Challenge #11 - Single Layer Card

When I read the challenge I thought ' oh no, I never use only 1 piece of paper.... Yikes'
So I started by trying to use a background stamp, that didn't work out at all :(
Next up, deciding on a sentiment.... Then I thought why not make a little subway art card, so that's what I did :)

Here it is...

I used many different sets from Pink By Design.

Getting set for my final challenge of the day :)

PBD Challenge #9 - Buttons

I wanted to create something fun this time - without paper, that almost worked until it came time to stamp. I bought some cute wood tags from Pick your Plum - They are super cute & I want to make lots of Christmas tags this year, but the ink I have bleeds into the wood & looks terrible. If you have any suggestions please feel free to let me know - I'd really appreciate it!

So here is my project...

I used Stampin Up! buttons & made a little Christmas tree.

This is the back side - I covered it in paper & inked & stamped in Wasabi - my favorite Stampin Up! green!
The twine is a combo of Twisted Lime -  & Red is from Pick Your Plum
The stamps are from PBD, of course & are Christmas Wishes!

Let's see what #10 will bring!
