I am gearing up for a super fun weekend away! It's the weekend of a fun birthday party for my niece & nephew. Their birthdays are just shy of 3 weeks apart, so my sister still lets them party together (which is much easier for me as they are 3 hours away)

I often have my trailer up there when we visit to stay in, but this year has been a bit tricky to haul it up there, so I text my sister today to ask if my niece is going to share her bedroom with us this weekend & she was cleaning it right then for us!

I wanted to make her an extra little treat to say thank you - after all she is 6, and I know how much 6 year olds enjoy cleaning their bedrooms!

Christmas in July CCE

Christmas in July!!! I'm in love with our theme for our CCE group this month! Anyone who knows me, knows how much I LOVE Christmas!

Camp Love Notes

I just sent my daughter off to a week long horse summer camp.

The worst part for me is this is a new camp for her.... Now she has been in girl guides for 7 years, so this isn't a new thing, but she has never gone away to this camp before. I know it sounds a bit strange, but I am a bit of a worrier, and I'm sure she will make great new friends, but part of me also thinks maybe, just maybe she might miss home just a little.

So to comfort my worrying, and to help comfort her home sickness (if she has any) I made her little 'camp love notes'

Sorry for the terrible photo, I didn't have long to figure it out, as I was trying to be secretive... 

I started with blank pages, but needed to add a bit of color & fun to each.
